I was trying to pull some routine data—quarterly reports, sentiment analysis, the usual digital breadcrumbs—when I hit the wall. It’s the financial equivalent of a diet pill ad. The promise of results without the messy, difficult work of actual analysis. This is the noise. It’s not just a distraction; it's a form of information pollution. It mimics the shape of analysis but contains none of its nutritional value.
